We Wish You a Merry Christmas

Having started crafting as a cardmaker, I now rarely make cards - if you receive one from me, you're privileged! However, I do try to find the time to make Christmas cards. There is rather a conveyor-belt process to making them - they're all the same but, after a bit of effort this week, they're made, ready to be written and posted.

The stamps are all from the Mistletoe collection acrylic stamps by Kaisercraft and, although it's not clear from the photo, I've used clear Wink of Stella on the trees to give them a lovely shimmer.

Happy Christmas!

Happy Mother's Day!

This side of the world, today is Mother's Day so, as well as sending her some flowers, I needed to send mum a card.

This might all look a bit familiar as the lettering is, again, brush script, this time using my Pentel brush pen. The picture doesn't show it too clearly, but the gold debossing on the paper resisted the ink and gave it a really cool look. Again, the paper is from the Becky Higgins Project Life Desktop Edition 6x6 paper pad and the Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish die was cut from vellum this time. I'm also continuing to use up my old Prima flowers, and dipped in to my stash of brads to finish the centres.

Scripted Happy Birthday

A quick card today with another brush script sentiment, this time created with watercolour. The paper is from the Becky Higgins Project Life Desktop Edition 6x6 paper pad and the Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish die was still close at hand. The card is finished with some Prima flowers I've had for a good while, and some clear gems.

Happy Valentine's Day!

I've been taking Jen Schow's Introduction to Brush Script Class, so I thought I'd hand letter Calum's Valentine card and gift.

The swirls on both are the Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish die, and the birds are the Bosskut Love Birds die. The lettering was done with the Pentel Pocket Brush Pen.

First Card of the Year

FIL's birthday is at the beginning of February so his card is the first of the year to be made.

You'd never guess he was in to his football!

This is mainly Spellbinders hexagon dies and Spellbinders pinked circle die. The stamps are Dovecraft Mix & Match which are on sale at Craftie Charlie at the moment...
